Praise and Thanks #2

Our praise and thanks for today is…..

Praise you Lord for helping us and being someone we can put our trust in Ps 37:40

***It’s a wonderful praise to know that the Lord is there to help us. It’s up to us to seek that help in all the right ways for all the right reasons. This is done through prayer, reading His Word and listening to what He has to say to our hearts. He can help us through problems at school, problems at home. He may not make the situation go away, that isn’t the promise here, what He does is help us through the things we find ourselves in the middle of. He can be trusted in a good and wonderful way, we can never get away from that particular praise as its through that trust that we are helped.

Thank you Lord for our animals, for the love they have to offer and the memories they put in our hearts

***Animals are a wonderful gift from God. They are full of unconditional love for their owners as they give us memories we will cherish for life. Each with their own special characteristics built in by God Himself and for this we are thankful.

Remember…
X marks the spot. We are creating a point of focus to direct our minds too when times get tough, or we are feeling depressed, happy, excited, sad, lonely, fearful, or whatever. Whether it’s the first thing in the morning, in the middle of the school day, or the last thing at night it doesn’t matter it’s a point of focus we need to train our selves to do.

When life gets negative and you feel your spirit being drawn down by things going on in your world make an X on a piece of paper. Once you’ve done that look at it and turn your head slightly and you can see your X turn into a cross. The cross of Jesus He died upon to get your life focused on what truly is important, a life with Him. With the right training of our eyes we can see Jesus wherever we are, in everything we gaze upon and it starts with the proper focus.

About Me

My photo
I reside in Oregon, with my husband of 32 years. I'm a mother of one and grandmother of six, counting my two newly adopted grandsons. I teach a women’s Bible Study. In June of 2007 God asked me to take with me the things I had learned in my own Christian walk to help those traveling down similar roads. A journey that started with a head injury in Jr. High School and the epilepsy it was to create later for 7 long years. One day I was given the key to my cure. In order to have the surgery to cure the 10% of my seizures that were truly epileptic I was told I had to get rid of first the 90% that were stress caused. For the next five years I took my stress issues to the Lord, leaning and relying on Him and His word as well as catchy sayings of others to see me through. As peace, obedience to God and giving up bad habits replaced worry, stubbornness and disobedience my stress seizures began to disappear. Finally I qualified for the surgery. The end result after 20 years has been being seizure free and pill free all those years. Praise the Lord. God is the cure. I can be contacted at karijo_fluffy@yahoo.com.
