John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (NKJV)
Oh, what a wonderful thing it is to know when someone loves us. Don’t you agree? It makes us feel good inside not only to hear those words but to see them in action as well. It’s an important thing for all of us to know if God, our parents, grandparents, friends, and relatives love us or not.
Straight from God’s spoken words in the Bible He tells us He loves us. There is no reason to doubt that at all. He not only said it but He showed us how much by sending His son to die for us on the cross and forgiving our sins.
Too often, we think because He loves us He will let us get away with anything we want because God is a God of love. Right? Wrong. Try that on your parents and see how far you get.
God gave us His Son Jesus Christ to get us away from sin (doing what is wrong is God’s eyes) not to do it more. Our chore or job is simply to believe in Him. Believe what He tells us in the Bible, believe He exists, and believe He cares and does love us. Believe there are penalties to suffer if we do not do what we are told to do by God.
“Dear Heavenly Father thank you so much for loving me as You do. If there is any unbelief in me Father God take it away and replace it with trust and faith in You. Help me that my life will show just how much I do believe by the attitude I have and the things I do and say. I love you God and again thanks for loving me.”
