Trust In and Rely On

In the scripture my granddaughters and I read today we found this in Psalm 52:8,9. Both of them just starting out in life at the age of ten and thirteen they are just now learning what trust is all about.

Growing up in a backwards world it seems like we are having to teach our kids more who they cannot trust than who they can. Being let down by a society that does as it pleases with no regard to others it's hard to know who you can trust.

It's a wonderful thing to know we can trust in the Lord. His lovingkindness and mercy is something we can confidently rely on forever and ever.

God will never let us down and we need to do the same for Him. We need to be reliable in our own way as we wait on, hope in and expect in the name of The Lord whose name is good, powerful and worthy of praise. A name that one day every knee shall bow to and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Now not later is the time to trust in and rely on the Lord.
